Anyone know of a good person/company to do dent removal? I have a dent in the panel just in front of the rear wheel and the paints not broken. The garage I went to this morning quoted me for taking out the dent, sanding, filling and respraying the whole panel including up around the roof and aerial, £220 + paint cost + VAT!!! Surely there are places that can just get the dent out?

Don't know of any in the Glasgow/Hamilton area but the guy S & S
of Ayr uses does a first class job.

You could try Wylmac of Uddingston adjacent to the bridges at M74 Jct 4 / M73 Jct 1, just off (in a cul de sac) what used to be the A74 before the motorway was opened, now the B7071, I think.
They used to be excellent. However, I haven't used them for many years. The yard always looks empty (from the M73 / M74 south bound slip) now, whereas it used to be quite busy.
They were good at this sort of thing. I once pranged my car (not a Scoob) offside front & rear; all the 'big boys' wanted to replace everything (more money in it for them). Wylmac did an excellent job, pulled the panels out; replaced nothing. And, as a result, the doors still fitted.
Unfortunately, as I say, a lot can happen to a business over the years, so I don't know what they're currently like.
