Sadly, I can no longer justify keeping two high powered cars, so the Skyline is up for sale. More details here :
Link to for sale for more info...
Drop me an email if you're interested, and I'll give you my number to chat if you want to know more.
There are a few people on here who I'm sure can vouch for it's awesome performance !

Here's the full post...
It's a sad day, but I'm having trouble justifying a GTR AND a P1, particularly as both insurances are coming up for renewal soon , so the Skyline is up for sale.
Superb car, but I only bought it as a stop-gap until the right P1 came along, and it did !! The P1 is a little more practical for skiing and surfing, so it's a keeper.
Anyway, here are some details :
1996 R33 Skyline GTR V-spec, twin turbo, in midnight purple.
Extensive engine work done (by Abbey Motorsport) less than 10k miles ago to give safe power increase potential. This included :
- Steel internal turbos (safer to higher boost levels)
- HKS pistons/rings taking cc to 2.7 litre
- 1.6mm steel head gasket
- Steel bottom end bearings (big end and main)
- Wide-band lamda sensor
- HKS Priest exhaust (decat, although cat is included in boot )
- Remapped ECU and carrier
This work gives approx 470/480bhp, although the engine is good for a lot more with different turbos. I prefered the everyday drivability of these ones, so kept it as is. With the EVC, you can run standard boost (approx 300bhp) for everyday use, and press the 'fun button' when you want a bit more .
A few other things have been done too :
- Lowered 30mm onto HKS springs
- HKS induction kit
- HKS dump valve (nice subtle ppssh !)
- HKS EVC boost controller (currently variable between 0.85 bar and 1.2 bar to give 'every day mode', and 'fun mode' !).
- HKS turbo timer (auto adjusting delay)
- Remounted front indicators to get rid of the ugly orange blobby things, and driving lights put in their place.
- Colour coded front splitter
- Clear side repeaters
- Clear rear indics
- Zeibart paint protection system - No need to polish ever again !!
- Full Zeibart underseal
- Light tints on side windows
- Top notch Kenwood N'fit stereo with kevlar door speakers, 10 disk changer etc.
- CAT 1 alarm/immobiliser
There may be a couple of other minor things, but that's the main stuff.
For anyone who doesn't know Skyline's, here are some of the STANDARD features :
- Twin turbo
- Twin airbags
- Brembo brakes
- 4 wheel drive
- 4 wheel steering (helps turn in on tight corners, and reduces excesive oversteer when having fun )
- Optimised power distribution - the electronics sense which wheel has the most traction and re-directs power accordingly. If the rear wheels start spinning, power is redirected to the front to sort things out. This all happens without you even knowing about it (except for the little guage on the dash that tells you the front torque)
- Folding electric mirrors - handy for those tight parking spots !
- Alloy bonnet
- Front and rear strut braces
- Gauges : Boost, oil temperature, oil pressure, front torque, water temp.
I'm sure there's a lot more, which I'll add as I remember !
Bearing in mind that this car has had over 10k spent on the mechanical work, I'm think I'm being fair asking for £20,500. It is in mint condition, and even has the original GTR mats inside !!
This would be a perfect platform for a higher powered GTR, as the engine has been built to take a lot more than the current 500bhp.
Post on here or email me if you're interested. I can email you a phone number if you want to chat about the car.
Cheers
Dave
