Can anyone recommend a trusting spark that is required to carry out a full rewire in the Corstorphine area of the city?
For my sister in law who moves house next month. Job may be week b4 Xmas.
I know we can all look up Yellow Pages but word of mouth helps pacify any horror stories.
SNet to the rescue again?

My wee bro is a self employed sparkie who`s speciallity was rewiring houses for the councils Also sub-cons, out 2 some of the big contractors round my neck of the woods.

Got my 4 bed detached house done in Craiglockhart for £2k cash.
That was ring circuits, light circuits, new switches in every room, new control panel, co-ax to every room, cat5 throughout, rewire out to garage, new doorbell, etc etc.
Took 3 of them 1 week to do it.
He is even local to Costorphine too I think, as he drinks in a pub round there.
However, not got his phone number to hand.....pester me if you want it.
His job was fine. Prob not 100% perfect, but no complaints. If I was to use him again, I'd spec the job to him better, as they do tend to make some assumptions if you don't tell them exact details (like most tradesmen).
