Was down at an autocross near Melrose on Sunday. Different crowd to the Perth run events that I usually go to. 4 off the line and a good mix of cars from bangers to rally cars to buggies. John and Nikki Cleland were out in an old sierra and big volvo respectively. Anyway as I was wandering round the pits I noticed a white Scoob saloon with forest tyres on. It was a road car and had a normal interior. Anyway this was the fastest car on the event. So stand up Jock Threadgall (subaru rally car driver) who beat everyone on the dirt in a road car!
You should have seen the smoke coming out of the scoop after his run!

Are you serious?
What events do you intend to do? Border style or 55CC ones?
I have a fair bit of autocross experience and I intend to be out next year with a Pug 205 gti.
If there is anything you want to know .

There is a 55 car club event scheduled for the 16th Nov just outside Errol. Come along and see what is involved.
