Made an arse of fitting white dials!!..help

As usual i fired in after not reading the instructions properly!Got it all back together but the rev counter doesnt work properly.
Moves but very slowly up and down and sometimes just gets stuck,the needle isnt on too far(i.e.rubbing against the face of dial)but the spindle bit it locates on moves in and out a bit,think its knackered,where can i get another rev counter?
