Looks great fun and great driving. Some nice camera angles as well. No side mounted stuff though. Going to try out some more new camera angles at Knockhill tomorrow night on an evening track session from 6-8pm.
we saw all those cars the day before at the glenvarigill day, we were parked behind the entire McKinstry Motorsport team and their scoobies at the services on the way up
Foz01, the commentary was poor, yes I agree but it wasn't the fault of Allan Douglas. Lets face it, he didn't have much to work with did he. It must have been the worst filmed rally event I've ever seen. Each car was only on the screen for a few seconds before they cut to the next car. I blame the director. There was not enough "in car" shots, too much close up, bad camera angles etc. It wasn't a big stage so they could have shown the stage in it's entirety at the start of the program. As it was, it got me a wee bit disoriented (no wait that might have been the drink).
I didn't think it was too bad. I watched the Men+Motors rallycross coverage and that is terrible. I did like the interviews on the UK coverage. You got to see the real people and not just the cars.
it would have been a bit better if they followed 1 car at a time thru the stages, got a little confusing with the camera jumping between 5 different scoobs at 1 time.
Seen you in action Davie, that big lad that was driving should have got out and gave you a hand!I saw myself on screen for about 2 tenths of a second when they were interviewing Gary Adams about his puncture then they cut to something else.
All in all though it was a good day of scooby action!
Dave I was laughing my A**e off whn I saw you out pushing the 205, sorry neebs but I was busy saying to her indoors " oh look thats the car Dave was co-piloting" and next thing you jump out and push it LOL.
Thought it was a good watch overall(missed the first 10 mins or so though) , commentry was cack but at least we got a differant type of motorsport on TV so cant be a bad thang really.
Oh and how quick were that going the wrong way around the hairpin WOW
Spooks
