Decorating stairs, anybody lend me some ladders?
#1
Morning all,
I was wondering if any of the Aberdeen members could lend me a set of those clever step ladders for working on stairs and the like, the ones that you can adjust the platform.
Beer could change hands if anybody can help, otherwise it's down to B&Q tomorrow.
Cheers,
Mike.

I painted our stairs with just an 18ft 3 way extension ladder.
Thing to watch out for (if you have high stairs), is that those platform ones might not give you enough height to reach the top.
If you only need it once, why not hire one for the weekend - much cheaper than buying one from B&Q, and then trying to find somewhere to keep it afterwards.
If it's just the one day, then you are welcome to borrow my ladder (fits in a standard hatchback car), but I'm planning to use it on Sunday.

Thanks for the offer John, but by the time I strip the paper, fill and sand the mass of bodges from previous decorations, then paper it'll be a few days anyway.
Where would I go to hire one? Never needed to before
Mike.
