hello folks havent been on for a while.....
Eventually got a new engine for the 'bucket'
Coscast 2.0 16v skimmed, polished & ported head by Powerzone.
New lifters, Sckrick 268 cams , Kent verniers.
2.1 bottom end using 88mm forged Omega pistons.
Compression ratio of 11.8:1
Knife-edged lightened & balanced crank.
New shells.
ARP bolts.
New oil and water pumps.
Fully polished Cam cover & belt cover.

with std injection etc.... 185bhp or so...
but TB's on and a 'healthy' cam profile.... erm.... 230+ i hope
230+ in my paper weight racer.... with plate diff.... oooof :P

diff - I got it direct from Tran-X ( http://www.tran-x.com ) ...... do quaiffe not do one for your fitment?
Car - aye.... it should be some beastie once its all up and running again.... hoping 230+ bhp..... so that would equate to around 270bhp per ton

DO NOT diss the sierra, it's a ******* wepon.. no rust anywhere, nice metalic blue colour, RWD, leccy windows, tax and test till next year so for 250 notes it is the bargain of the century!!
Actually, the golf is staying off the road all winter now so i can do a few more bits to it and get it nice for next summer..
Your bucket should be rapid when it is all set up properly.

I was sideways at the blackburn roundabout this morning - unintentionally - and the boy in the transit who was about a foot from my rear bumper fully hit the brakes and looked like he had a heart attack..transit driving ***** fukka... - joke btw to all you transit drivers out there. :P
