Unhappy

Any help would be most appreciated with this.

Have a piston gone on scoob, its MY95 WRX import.

Does anyone have any recommendations of where I could get this sorted. It's obviously a big job requiring a rebuild / new engine so need a place which is gonna do a good reliable job. Anyone have any experience of this or know of someone who has had this done, and idea of approximate costs would be of help.

Cheers for any info.

You could try Walden Engineering in Aboyne. Nigel is a Vauxhall expert but he is branching out into Scoobs. He prepares loads of rally cars and is very busy but give him a try 01339881118

JJM - I had a similar rpob with my Uk turbo. I took mine to AWD in Perth. Had absolutely no problems at all with the job, v.impressed.

Hope this helps.

jjm555 - your not alone mate. I'm looking just now for places to fix the big ends in my engine. Lots of places dont want to do it for some reason. Other want to charge you ridiculous money.

Just gotta bite the bullet I guess.

Good luck with getting somewhere.

Cool

John,

I`d have to echo what`s already been said m8.
AWD in Perth have helped me out numerous times with some of the LARGER projects on my scoob. I`d have no problems in recommending
anyone let Dave work on their pride and joy.

Pete
