where is a good place to get an alarm supplied and/or fitted either in scotland or north of england, newcastle/sunderland carlisle etc.

i've heard/seen people claim that the can get cat 1 alarms/immobs fitted for 200, cheapest locally is circa 3-450 for a clifford 300, sigma, scorpion

I'm wanting a cat 1 alarm and immob. what are the reliable makes to go for and what should i look out for in the various models and people fitting them.

also is it worth getting a disklock type of thing or are they just a waste of time?

get a "TOAD ai606" fitted.They can come to ur home or place of work to fit.Cost is about £250.This in conjunction with a steering lock should do u .Do a search on the net for Toad and I"m sure u'll find a number to contact them on.

I recently had Scorpion 1218T Cat 1 from Lothian Auto Electrics, will cost you about 280. Number is in Yellow Pages.

Had no probs so far.
