alright guys,
so what happens at these meets then??
i'm in glasgow and was just wondering what the score was. i should pick up my scoob this week, 03 WRX.

We usually meet at about 1900, blether a bit and look at the cars. Check out what new gadgets have been installed, wait ages on opel corsa
cos he's always late. Then we usually decide (on the night)to go for a drive somewhere.
Once on route we usually wait for Spooks to catch up in his Renault 19
,but this time will be different cos he's got a real mean machine now
Some meets are better than others but the best way is to gauge for yourself. Hopefully c ya there.

hey, leave the CTR's alone , i've just sold mine to my sister. I've got 1 1/2 days left with it before i pick up the new WRX.
Dunno if i'll make the meet, need to see what the script is with work that night.

Hi,
Will try to get over this Tuesday 12th if that's OK with all, so BTTT for some more interest.
Will be bringing MY03 WRX, looking for some input re: mods etc...need to talk the missus into an Sti spoiler and painted sills..looking for some help guys!
Looking forward to meeting you all in the flesh if I'm not down South.

Looks like I will be going to KH. Have spoken to a few other scoob owners who are also getting p***ed off with Coatbridge and lack of organisation once there.
As you all know I have sugested other places for our monthly meet and still open to suggestion.
Also the over-all feeling I get from the guys I have spoken to is the 'monthly meet' be just that, a meet. A chance to get together and chat over a coffee, beer or bottle of Octane Booster.
If anyone from there wants to go on a 'run out' anywhere is up to them. I have also said I would be happy to organise something at a weekend for a 'run out' as people might have more time and not want to end up in Central Region at 2am!!!
Thoughs again please guys. And anyone coming to KH say hello. I'll be there from just b4 5pm.

Well said John and I will be happy to plan a regular Glasgow meet that will suit all.
Will be looking for your assistance and comments from all.
IMHO the best place would be a more central location with easy access and large enough car-park. When I had my Beetles the VWOC met at a hotel in the South Side. If anyone can suggest such a location I will contact establishment and let them know of our intentions.

How about as we have orginised this months meet for costbridge we leave it there and we can have a chat about going to khill.
And next month we put up the post sooner and go to khill.

Don't know if anything is on next month as KH web-site is as bad as its facilities.
We want a Glasgow meet organised properly(by me ). More feed back is needed other than a run to KH.

Can't be there tonight as need to take her to see Dad in hospital.
Maybe next time if somebody organises it in enough time.
I'm open to suggestions, but would prefer somewhere south side of Glasgow or M8'ish. Something to eat would be good and maybe a run out before/after.

Tryed to make it to KH to meet up but couldnt make last ferry to Troon ( Working in Belfast) Boss caught me slopeing off.
As I write you will probably be ripping up the motorway destroying the Ozone so Ill catch you L8TR.
