There does seem to be a lot around. But I have another question. Why when I am in a car other than my scoob do I see a lot more scoobs ? Then I get into my scoob and drive for hours and don't see any ?

Ian,
I have just fitted an HKS downpipe to my car at the weekend. Previously(sp) only had a SS Back Box, still have centre cat.
The Turbo spools quicker and seems more urgent but the noise seems to have increased lots. Sound deadening will be required.(esp. with a wagon)
I have set my stereo to more rear fill to try to drown out the noise a bit until I get round to it.
+ power, - noise at higher speed

Good Question,
I was intending to ask my local friendly MOT station to check emissions on the machine and see what happens. Don,t know what the regulations are but I will find out. Luckily my MOT,s not for another 11 months
Quick Tip:- Get your clutch replaced 1st, then the garage has to undo the Nuts / Studs on the Turbo. saves hours of grief and skint knuckles.

Ian,
Go for it !
I actually had the DP and CS sitting for a while, went to get the DP fitted but....I didnt cos MOT was due the next few weeks (I dont check the paperwork, so LJ told me) and then after that I decided to sell the car
everything will be ready for you. The heat shield is cut there is a new lambda in, the lot. I dare say, had I kept the pipes you would have wanted them for 75p each when you bought the car
As for the MOT thing: would pass with 1 cat so just pop in the CS come MOT time
Oh and get the wee lad some lug protectors for the w/end runs

WHY WHY WHY WHY did you get rid of them ?????
'Cos LJ was gettin annoyed with them sitting around....along with all the sets of wheels ect.
And as soon as I mentioned that the car was to be sold their fate was sealed
