Question

Need help from someone back home in the UK please. Ordered a 4.1 rear diff for my Westy (Ford running gear)from the above company. They are based down south and the parts have not arrived yet

I am offshore Denmark and can't find the number to chase them up. Long shot, but does anyone know the place I mean????
Need the car ready for KH next weekend.

I'm the same as Johnny I can't find any company with "RS Spares" in the name. Do you know the town or city?
The only thing that came close was "The RS Centre" in Essex, any good?

Thumbs up

Panic over and I am very grateful to all of you who tried to help me out here. Many many thanks.

Thing is I got the name wrong as the guy trades as RS Specialist and the phone number is 01773 819819.

Where it got sticky was I phoned my credit card company and tried to back track. I find the money was taken under the name of Ashfield Motor Sport, so I phone BT Directory Inquirers through the satellite link via Aberdeen office and find out that company is not listed in the phone book at all. By this time am I am kicking myself for not checking all this out at the time when I was speaking to him. But I have used this place several times in the past, between 8 and 15 years ago when I was playing with fast fords, so I felt OK about the deal.

But when I phoned Ricky Gauld and he said the parts have not yet arrived I did not feel so good about my hundreds of pounds!

However the diff should arrive later today or tomorrow. Next stop; KH

Thanks again for the effort lads.

Ah that's Pete from RS Specialists. If you do ever have a problem contacting him you'll find him on the RSOC or Passionford BB's. He's a good guy.
