About 2 months ago at the Glasgow meet I gave a fellow scoobynetter my brand new Dawes Device to try, if he liked it he was giving me the money. He seemed a reasonable bloke but 8 weeks later and not a word from him.
I think his name was Langy. Anyone know who he is or how I can track him down.

Know he is trying to sell his car at the moment so can't see why he would want to keep the dawes 
I bought a radar detector from him and sold him a panel filter and I agree .. he seemed a decent guy

He is me! Haven't vanished and wouldn't think of doing so. You said I could pay you for it (which I will) the next time I saw you which, I accept, has been a while but due to a new job I find the 7 o'clock meets near impossible. I had the intention of giving it to you at NBO as i seen you were going from another post and I am going to it. I would have preferred you just sent me an e-mail regarding the content of this post however as I feel it could give others that don't know me the wrong idea about me. Anyway, if you could send me a mail with payment details/how much, etc i'll get it too you asap

Not yet Ozzy, haven't really been trying apart from on here, i'll put it in the autotrader soon but am in no rush to sell it really, just doing a lot of miles for work and it ain't really the car for it, besides, just got a new sports bike for speed kicks

Langy - how about a Mk3 Golf GTI 16v for the commute to work?
Someone had approached me with a px but I think it is going nowhere now... saw your post in the classifieds and wondered if you would be interested in a px with my car? Cheaper to run if yo uare doing higher miles, and it's a low mileage car too so you'd probably only bring it up to average miles...

No problems at all. To be honest I was not even sure of your Scoobynet name or E Mail address and had to ask around.
I am cool about the money, if you had just dropped me an E mail I would know you had not dropped off the face of Scoobynet.
