Richard have you tried Mark at Tyres Northampton on 01604 588599, or another Mark an Alloytech Wheels(Manchester) on 0161 627 1443.

Like the MOs myself. Do they come in 19"?

Speedline Turinis??

The MOs look the muts nuts though. Very tempted to obtain a price for a set in 19" if they do them.

Silver MOs

I'm struggling to sort out my wheels at the moment, i reckon i can get the ones i want in silver instead of gold, question is, if i get them in silver is there anywhere i could get them re-sprayed locally in Aberdeen??

Otherwise i might have to keep looking

Cheers,
Richard.

Don't give up on gold yet M8 - call me on Sunday 01224 749972 and you can see these MO's and decide if they are the sort of thing your after. Or you can wait until Tuesday night to see them at the monthly meet

Cheers guys. I was ideally after Detroit F1's but can't get them in gold (only silver at the mo) that's why i started looking at other wheels, MO's, ST2's, RL7's etc...

I reckon i might get the silver Detroit's and get them coloured if i don't like the silver...

I'll ring you in a minute Wuz..

Cheers,
Richard.

Been told by both Marks that I mentioned that Detroits are no longer coming into the country!

As for RL7's, Raceline went bust over a year ago!

Yeah. Elite reckon they can get silver detroits but not gold, might order silver instead hence the wheel colouring question... (don't want them to look crap by painting them)

ST2s have been discontinued too Any other suggestions?

Guys

I thought it was better to paint wheels rather than powdercoat them?

The reason being is that powdercoating has only limited colours but where as painting them you have a range of millions of colours. Is this true or am I talking through my ****?

I was thinking about reconditioning my alloys but because they're gold, i've been different opinons on whether to paint them or powdercoat them.

Sorry for hijacking your thread but I think this is something else for you to think about too.

Cheers

Angry

Most displeased.....

Just had a phone call from Autosave. He now says that he can't get them for that price, they are 1500 He made a mistake as when Compomotive gave him the price he thought it was Wheels & Tyres but it was actually wheels only

Well p1ssed off because i had been in and paid a deposit and i have a receipt showing the wheels and the price....

Have spoken to someone at work who knows about these things and she says that i can't force him to sell me them at the originally quoted price as it was a genuine mistake

So back to the drawing board....

try some other places Ricco. I got my wheels from R-Tec, and Revolution are pretty good as well. If you're feeling flush, try Checkpoint, but you'll find mail order is a lot cheaper (and the mail room here are fine about you getting them delivered as mine were delivered here )
