I had another road kill on my Christmas Eve run, with a Pheasant taking out my new front number plate.

The first I knew about it was when a car in Pitlochry stopped and told me that I had "a pheasant stuck in my radiator". He was right, I had been driving around for some time with the bird's feet sticking out in front of the car.

All very funny, but not for the birst, who is just reday for a roasting tonight.
