Hi Ian,

I tried that bracket again today but couldn't get it to fit anywhere. It doesn't fit under the brake pipes and the bolts are too big to fit through the holes anyway

I've taken it back to *cough* Halfords *cough* and they said that they will phone Pipercross to see what they say...

They kept the box and bits etc. for the time being, but when i find out what the score is i'll let you have that pipe thingy

Cheers

Cool

No problems. Like I say, it looked like a kit for the early models like mine (esp with the pipework ) rather than the later models like yours. Probably packaged it wrongly?

Talking

OK. Spoken to them on the phone today and aparently Pipercross aren't being very helpful so halfords are ordering another kit that is supposed to be for the later models in the hope that the bracket will fit my car

I'll let you know when it arrives

No problem.

Hopefully it'll fit, if not then I'm sure between us all up here we can sort something out for you

Red face

Hi Ian, went into Halfords today as they'd got the new kit in and it seems to have the right bracket

The only problem is that they gave me the new kit (inc. new intake pipe) and just made up the old kit with the new cone. So unfortunatly i no longer have that wee metal pipe you were after

Sorry about that mate.

Cool

No problem, better that your MAF doesn't fail than having a bit left over
