Knockhill Saturday
#1
Can I just say that despite the wet crap weather Knockhill was a surprising success and there were alot of great cars there. My only disappointment was the fact that I got stuck behind a green Rover! Why was this even on the track I thought that it was meant to be a High Class Performance car day!!!(keep it for Cowdenbeath mate!)
On another note the Burgundy 200sx Nissan was something else! If the big boy that drives it reads this, loved the massive flames! You should have a part in The Fast and Furious 2. Thanks again TG XX.

Turbo Girl,
I can't remember anyone getting stuck behind the Green Rover all day. He was extremely courteous, and moved over on every straight to let the faster cars through, and at no time was any car "stuck behind" for more than a few seconds at a time.
Through the corners (especially when wet), his car was actually just as fast as most of the other cars on the circuit.
I don't think anyone who took part on the day would have any hesitation in inviting him back.
On the other hand, I had a few comments about the Nissan 200sx driver failing to pull over to let faster cars through, with him apparently expecting cars to pass him on the right, in contradiciton to the explicit instructions in the briefing. He also didn't lift off to let faster cars pass safely either.
I only heard these "moans" about the 200sx driver after the event.

Have to agree with John.S. I came up behind the Rover a couple of times that day and he was just as quick through the twisties. After the corners he moved to the right as per the briefing and let me through. No probs with his track manners.

Hows tricks, havent seen you since that club run many moons ago, was a good laugh, got that limiter off yet cant be any fun when the 1.4 starts pulling away at the top of 5th gear-lol.
That was a good run that day, hope to see you at an event soon.
