As it is such a sunny day I decided to head of to the park with the wee fella to get some colour about our cheeks!
We were having fun on the swings etc but we were also playing with the football and this is where disaster struck!
Steven kicked the ball into the duck pond! Smarty pants AJ decides to try and get it back but falls in. All the kids were laughing but Steven was embarassed! The best bit is still to come, we had to get the bus back. I have just come out of the shower and I am still frozen, don't think I will ever feel warm again

I shouldn't laugh...........but 
That's the sort of thing you'd should have done when you were blonde
At least it was the duck pond and not strathy park.

It was the Heritage Loch in EK but I call it a duck pond as it is tiny and not worth the title "Loch"
As I start to warm up I can see the funny side.

Hope you have thawed out, though I would have thought the embarresed glow would have done that.
Went ice skating on a reservoir near Helensburgh one winter and though it would be cool to take my motorbike on it. Another guy saw me and a couple of days later I heard how he and his bike went through the ice (he was Okay). Made me realise what a stupid thing it was to do.

That would be "The Skating Pond" at the top of Helensburgh going towards Loch Lomond then! Many a time I went home wet!
I used to live 10 minutes walk from there!!!

Ah, I though from your post that something more exciting had happened for you afterwards. I suppose anything would be better than falling in a pond in front of loads of people and then having to go home soaking wet

Yes, it was at the "The Skating Pond" at the top of Helensburgh going towards Loch Lomond. Bit of a swine if you hit a twig while skaiting. I also went home wet many a time. Great atmosphere though. Was based at Faslane for a few years.
