Interesting day Good to meet a few new faces, not forgetting some of the old diehards withoot their cars
I must thank Harvey for a run in his Scoob very w i d e power band on that car There can't be many scoobs which pull that strongly over such a wide 4000 rpm band....nice one.
Sorry if our Scottish fuel, weather or perhaps that voodoo spell I cast robbed you of a few bhp on the day ?
Looking forward to a tour South sometime in the next few months
As for Barry's EVO....wicked Very impressive engine, just a bit lag in 1st from that BIG turbo then it's off like a rocket
Fastest EVO I've been in by a long shot ! Looking forward to another run in the dry sometime !
Mike's TME6 looked the business as well, you'll be keeping it standard then Mike
Sadly, I never got a run in Alans Cavalier

Cheers Andy:Good to meet you at last and quite informative even if todays run was not as spectacular. Vodoo? You dont do that as well do you? Accomodation here for you or Alan if you want to use this as a staging post for a forrage to the South.
Still think there is merit in trying several rolling roads witha couple of control vehicles over a couple of days. V/Impressed with the consistency you are getting and the range of info from the Performance Meter.
Good to meet other faces old and new and hopefully I can make the next one.
Grant: As promised. Speak to Kevin. sales@hyperflow.com.au
If Dave comes across a cast exhaust housing for VF turbo let me know or will buy VF22/23 etc with P20 inlet for repair/overhaul.
Pete: Good luck with the new mota. You posting the days results on here? Also thanks to Jim.

Sorry about you not getting a run in the Cavalier Andy ..you shouldn't have been so shy and just asked....
I tend not to offer passenger rides in it, because I really don't want to upstage other owners of fine machinery who have spent shedloads on theirs.

Hi John
Darkside? Definately not for me. As you know I tried quite afew out in various guises before settling on the RA in the first place. Not sure what's next, if anything! May just end up keeping it if there's no decent offers. Fancy giving an elise a go for a while, or perhaps a Cebera, who knows? If you get rid of the Evo, you could buy mine and have a few quid left over towards the kitchen sink

Big thanks to Pete for his organising abilities, and to Jim and the boys for getting the job done. Sorry I had to nip off sharpish but I had to get straight back up the road.
Very happy with the results, 278 BHP and 233 lb/ft is pretty good for less than £350 worth of power mods on a MY96 UK car , only over shadowed by Iain getting nearly 290 BHP on his MY94 with very similar mods Just noticed that I was only running 0.9 bar boost, but any more and I hit fuel cut in 5th

hello folks
was good to put some faces to names!
Car however was quite disapointing, just under 250bhp and 254ft/lb
****!
anyway some very nice cars there, the 911 turbo pulling 446 bhp was pretty cool
hope to trundle along to a track day and some point and catch up with all the folks again
Cheers

Nah think he'd do me, scoob is quicker off the line- 4 wheels spinning whilst mine fanny's about transfering power, once on the run they are exactly the same, but shoosh dont tell him that

Sorry for the late reply, was on holiday frolm the morning of the RR, hence the erason we left a bit early, my daughter was starting to need something to eat (as was I ) so we left after only a couple of cars were run.
Was well impressed at how much I got out of the car 286.5bhp at just over 7000rpm but not as impressed with the torque at 224@6500rpm. Still not bad for an old car with only the exhaust, filter and Dawes. Still plenty that can be done I also had to turn the boost down on the way down to Star as I hit the fuel cut a couple of times. I guess the FCD is next on the list to avoid that
Any idea when the full results will be up on scoobymods?
Pete, might be interested in that replacement grill you showed me a bit later on. Got the morettes fitted now (and painted) and while it'll do for now I reckon I'll need the grill to finish it off

It was a while ago now. I'm only just catching up with everything since I've been on holiday the last fortnight without internet access.
Just in case you were thinking you'd missed another one
Pete, you shifted that Link yet either?
(I have to stop buying things
