Walking through Charring Cross (Glasgow) today I notice there is a scooby sitting at the traffic lights. It is the foremost car in the queue waiting for the lights to change from red. Standing at the edge of the pavement, level with the passenger window I wave exuberantly (other people look at me as if I've lost the plot) only to be completely ignored by the driver.

Any bets on who around here was too busy thinking about their lunch (it was 12:40) to pay attention to what was going on around them?
