Sti Vs 2 Info needed
#1
Im looking for some info on an a Sti Ra Ltd Version 2, the Model # is: GC8C4DD. Im wanting to know more indepth info ie Closed Block ? What make and Model of Turbo? Injector Capacities? Is the suspension 'uprated' compared to std Wrx ? etc.
Also a guide of the engine bay wouldnt go a miss either, where exactly is the boost solonoid is it on the drivers side strut turret nearest the front or on the other side of the turret below the scuttle panel?
Also, (lol, not holding back) this car also has the adjustable diff and it seems that the car should only be driven when the diff is in the free position (switch wheel in the backwards position)does anyone ever use the other settings or is this more of a working gimmick ?
Any other usefull info would be top.

Oh yeah another quickie, the car came with an HKS Turbo Timer in the Glove box (bonus!) It has a harness too but im not sure how to go about fitting it, has anyone fitted one or can shed any light ??
Thanks

The adjustable diff can be useful in the wet. In the free position, there's more rear wheel bias than a standard impreza, so can be entertaining in the wet . When it starts getting wet, wind it forward a notch or 2, and it'll be a be easier to get the power down and keep it all straight !! Good in the snow aswell, as you can lock it up and get equal drive front/back. I was loving it last winter when I could just cruise past all the 2wd's slithering around on the hills (not so good on the downhills though, as there's no ABS on the Type R's !!).
Not sure about your other questions, as mine was a type 5, type R.
