Question

well, not quite.

Informant from back in god's country told me there was a Peugeot advert aired in the middle of Taggart last night (21h15) and it was filmed in the best town in Scotland Now I huvnae seen Taggart since Jardine's corpse was found on a beach (Mrs Broown cried), I know I should to keep my accent a vocabulary up-to-date....

Did anybody see it? More importantly does anybody know where I can get a download of it from the net?

Thanks,
Duncan (exiled in Surrey)

PS am heading back to god's country this weekend so look out for a blue Golf with a saltire on the boot in the Edinburgh, Mull, Skye, Aberdeen areas!

I haven't watched that program for even longer. Didn't know that Jardine wasn't around any more!

Try the Peugeot website perhaps ?

Will keep my eyes peeled this weekend for you.

Fitlike Duncan........??

Yes, I spotted the pier in the advert last night but before I'd got a second look the advert was finished. I didn't know there was a Peugeot dealer on Mull..... Maybe Stella used her influence at Peugeot to film outside the Mish!

Taggart was an old repeat, either that or Jardine's been dug up. Don't remember seeing the advert before though.....

Isn't Edinburgh, Mull, Skye and Aberdeen a bit ambitious in one weekend......?

BTW, the regs for the rally came in while I was on holiday so I guess I'm too late to get an entry now. Couldn't get accommodation sorted though so looks like I'll be spectating again.

nae bad Andrew,

We're taking the whole week for the trip, never been to Skye before so wait and se how long we'll stay (weather etc.) Plans for Aberdeen weekend include kayaking down the Dee - but precise time / location secret at the mo.

Tour of Mull regs came out Friday 9th at 11h00 (on web), 37 entries were in by close of that day, 83 in total by end of Saturday. Luckily Team Broons got our entry in at No.71. Hopefully we'll get a top-20 seeding this year.

might get over to the Speyside, so maybe see you there.

Cheers Duncan, our entry for the Speyside has just been posted so I hope that will keep the frustrations down for a while until I can unleash the Land Rover on Mull......!! Maybe not as quick as the Escort but quicker than my (or any) Subaru.....!! (Okay maybe not MacKinnon's but I'm sure if he was following he couldn't pass me through the black reek....)

Try Stella herself to see if she knows about the advert.(stella@peugeotsportuk.com)

Thumbs up

Dave,

Glad you got fixed up with the BP guy - we're here to help. Aye, I know Bill a bit, he's in your line of business aswell. Nice bloke, lent us an alternator the year we splashed out. If you're coming over to Mull again, come and say hello - I'm sure Bill knows where our house is....and everybody knows where the shop is.

Still no closer to finding the Pug advert!
