Ney bothers. If I recall those are the wheels that were on your car last time I saw it. What have/are you replacing them with?

Too good for the track. Toasting discs would just ruin the wheels by throwing off bits of molten brake pad !!

I've got a set of Yokohama A032's they came with wheels at a good price

Scoob will be out on 20th all going to plan

Andy

Many apologies but just received offer of very cheap 17"s which I was sort of hanging on for.

BTTT along with real apologies. Hope you shift these soon.

YHM re above plus one other point that may be of interest to you.

Sipie, what 17s are these? Also, what you going to do with your new 16" tyres.......stetch them

Appology for this little hijack but it does put you back up to the top

Saxoboy

LOL at the 'stretch the tyres bit' but here's the master 'tyre / wheel' plan...! ZZZZzzzzz

From where the guy works the 17"s could be anything but I won't take them unless they are really what I want.

The plan:-

1) Put new toyos on existing 16"s tomorrow 9am ..... ! wehey..! and use as everyday till 17"s appear.

2) New 17"s (whenever it happens) to then go straight on car and hopefully they will be supplied with good rubber (if not splash out on some more goodyear or toyos from www.mytyres.net..)

3) Save perfectly legal and uninspiring current SO3's for track day/crail etc

4) When winter comes switch back to 16's with the good new Toyo rubber on them so I'm not too worried about an icy/snowy slip n' slide kerbing incident!

Make sense dude?

Ahhh! Just one flaw! Do you really think you'll switch back when you've got nice shiny gold alloys on

Crail tyres, good idea. Now all you need is a Crail clutch

Andy - very very interested.

I was about to get 4 new Toyo's in the new few weeks anyway!

I live in Dunblane but work in Glasgow (can meet up anywhere though).

Richard.

Edited to say I'll take them for £200. YHM.

BTW - excuse my ignorance but is it easy to take the tyres off and put them on other alloys? (just incase my wife prefers the silver alloys we have this now in the future).

Cheers Richard

Most tyre garages will swap tyres for you for the price of a puncture repair (£5 - £7)

I work in Edinburgh and I'm on late shift this week so I could meet you to the west of Edinburgh one evening if you like.

Andy,

Sounds good. I 'might' be coming through to Edinburgh tonight for a meeting at 5:15pm @ the Marriott just along from the Maybury roundabout - which should finish around 7pm. Too soon? Timing out?

Cheers
Richard.

Andy - e-mailed and left a voice mail to say I can't make it tonight - need to be in Glasgow for a meeting at 4:30pm

Def still want the tyres and wheels but might be the start of next week before I can collect them (happy to post you a cheque today if that will help holding them for me).

Sorry for the change.

Cheers
Richard.

Back for sale again.

Wheels were in excellent nick but silly me didn't realise (until I had the wheels off!!) that my car is a MY99 with 4pots - which means the front wheels don't fit

So, wheels and tyres back for sale at £220 for the 5. Please e-mail me at richard.beattie@btinternet.com if you're interested.

Only good for pre MY99 cars!

Cheers
Richard.
