Hey,

How the heck are you, fine car you've got too, and nice to see you took my advice and popped in here, Welcome

Try the Shell on Kilwinning road Irvine, and the one at Ardeer Stevenston. Both had it lastnight, but the tanks are original and have not been flushed, so I declined the pleasure.

Maybe worth waiting a month

Tell Her to wave next time and if that doesn't work She should flash (Ooooo'err)

I'll probably spend the next couple of weeks waving to fit blonde birds in BMW's and get a reputation as a pimp

Was in both the Shell garages in Stevenston this morning, and they both had their Optimax pumps closed off. Bugger, I ended up driving to the PB in Dreghorn on fumes to get SUL

The Shell garage on Auchenharvie road in Stevenston should be a safe bet for Optimax, as they never used to stock SUL, so the tanks will not have been left empty.

The Ardeer garage in Stevenston however stopped selling SUL about August time last year, and the tanks have been lying empty until now

Hi m8
Just off Junc 2 on M77 at Pollokshaws roundabout - Shell garage there does Optimax. Useful if you're travelling up or down.

optimax is cheaper than esso sul so even if the car don't run sweeter my wallet is smiling
if you see an L plate, white wrx with gold speedlines and red sti mud flaps then there's a good chance it's me!!
you wanna organise a meet post times, places and i'm sure something will end up happening!!!!!!

thanx alasdiar i'll keep it in mind if i'm out and about

been thinking about a meet - sunday afternoons are my best bet, either that or it's nighttime and pictures look so much better if the sun is shining

Tyler,

The BP at Monkton sells the cheapest SUL for us, can't remember exactly but it's like 79.9 V's 81.9 'Up-North'.

The 77.9 or whatever Optimax has been introduced at is the 'Fayre Price' as I was told.

don't wanna be selfish and have anyone travel to a location that only suits me ( like my front garden ) any suggestions of times and places could all get stuck in a big blender and i'm sure we'd come up with something that wouldn't put everyones nose out of joint.

where abouts in hamilton you talking dougster cos i know i'd be willing to travel and i'm sure a few like minded people would join me. get a chance to put faces to the comments i've been reading

times and places please people and we could be on to the start of something beautiful here.................

Strathclyde Park may be OK but does attract the nova/corsa brigade and the Traffic Police.

Anywhere west would do. Suggestions on a post-card please.
Have car, will travel!

Hey guys, just thought I'd mention it. Optimax went online at 6pm in Stevenston today. I was their first customer. The sales assistant even had to phone up for the price. (77.9)
