I should be there as well
I'll be up for some passenger laps John if you are braving the track again
[mental note]Make sure life insurance is up to date [/mental note]
Will try to remember the camcorder so you can relive your moment of glory

What baby? There isn't a baby in my car is there.........**** a ghost, I've bought a haunted car.......LOL She's my daughter and is only 2, trying to get her into cars early so when daddy wants to make his car go faster, she can persuade mummy. You know how kids usually get there own way eventually.....LOL.
No seriously, we were at the park and it was resonably picturesque, digi camera in the glove box and hey presto.

When I used to come up behind cars my kids would say " takeover him dad" When we got home, first thing their mum would ask in a suspicious tone was "how fast were you going"
We never went more than 50 was the usual reply, good job I trained them to watch the rev counter needle
(handy hint No 1 )
Andy

Its got Eibach lowering springs which are supposedly 35mm lower...hmmm, 50mm more like.
The chassis is quite stong, the is a front strut brace fitted as standard.
The car is fast upto 5500rpm then the Vtec kicks in, after that it sings to you all the way to 8000-8200rpm. It has a cone airfilter which helps, standard exhaust with a de-cat pipe, it should be interesting once a performance exhaust is fitted.

ChrisG you going on the track? If you are coming at 1pm I will need to take a little while before 4.30pm to get the car ready for the track - possibly change the wheels depending on the rain, go Optimax hunting and work out a way of securing the laptop so I can log whilst going round the first time out to make sure 20 PSI on a TD04L is OK - that is unless someone is able to hold it for me

I think I'll leave the road tyres on rather than the very worn RE010s - they would be massive fun in the wet
As it was I was slithering around in 2nd gear in the wet Skies over Knockhill are kind of grey.

mr bluenose/sir,
was my driving standard okay tonight or are there any areas that I need to sort out? .
thought you might have come down off the side-line and shown me how it's done
quite a good night in the end, with a good variety of machinery.there was two white EVO6's,one was much faster than the other.does anyone know what sort of power he is running?,followed him at the end of the night and he is definitely not scared to throw a car about .
the track was a bit strange, there where lots of 1foot wide damp patches, the full width of the track, waiting to catch you out and at the other side of clarks a huge damp part on the exit ,probably would have been better if it was all wet or all dry.
only decided at 4pm,to stop being a pissy(sp) and just do the night.glad I did now .

T-uk can drive incredibly well. Even in a straight line I was struggling to gain anything at all - must have mapped his car too well I am improving though - this was only my second track day. He just gets on the power so early out of a corner
