Knockhill, Thursday 20th June
#1
The next SIDC event at Knockhill is taking place on Thursday 20th June, with one of our ever popular 2 hour sessions.
Action starts at 6pm (though you need to be there for 5pm at the latest if you are driving), and it will the usual open pit lane format giving maximum track time for your money.
The cost is a mere £35 for SIDC members, or £40 for guests
Places are limited to guarantee quality track time, so you'll need to book up quickly.
If you are interested in taking part, drop me an email on john@sidc.co.uk
John
PS There will probably be the usual post-event curry as well

Booked through SIDC for July, August and September track sessions but was just thinking of comming to the 20th June evening to get photos and some video. So if anybody wants some in car video of some laps around Knockhill in their car then give me a shout. Always enjoy passenger laps! Plan on taking photos from around the track as well. Hope weather is good.
Cheers Iain

i don;t think i will have anything extra in the car by this time but you never know the 7 is a bit behind when it comes to development parts . although it may not be fast in the straight lines as my old scoob but it will definitely go around hte bends faster
what intercooler are you getting? tmic or fmic

The driver and car combination will show me up big style in the bends, and I'll need a lot of extra punch to make up for that instant whole car length you get out of the hairpin. Things have been struggling a bit with the factory TMIC, going for a BPM massive thing, probably need to detune a lot from the road map for the track and start low and work up. On hot days it just retards a lot at present.

John, when is the next full event to be held on a Saturday? I would like to do a weekend up in Scotland again
I might consider a quick train visit up for the Thursda event to take some photos :0 that is if I can get a cheap trian ticket!

Scoobychelle,
the next Saturday event is on the 20th July. We'll also be trying to raise lots of money for a children's charity at this event as well It's only a morning event (9am - 1pm), so leaves you the rest of the weekend to explore Scotland
20th June - would be more than happy for you to come along, take photos, get passenger laps etc.
