hi guys as title says i want to get back into subaru ownership lookin at the sti hatch on a 59 plate 22000 miles up for £18995 ! wot do you think ? and wot to look out for ? many thanks

Hey up Jay.
I was in the same position as you about 6 months back, although looking at older models 08 plates for around the £12k mark.
A fair few had had engine rebuilds on the 2.5, not technical enough to know all the issuse, but pistons etc....
I have settled on a blob eye 03 plate JDM STI twin scroll, my advice to you would be look at JDM versions. They are more expensive, but the 2.0 engine does seem to have less problems.
