Alright guys got a 51 plate Bugeye and I am wondering what exhaust would be best to put on it? The car already is sitting with decat upside,vf35 turbo, pink injectors,255fuel pump,upgraded plugs if that makes any difference any help would be great

Depends on how loud you want it. I had a 3" APS system with sports cat fitted in 2004 as part of a package. After a few upgrades, FP Green turbo, Yellow injectors, Aeromotive fuel regulator and some other bits my Bug STi did 400 bhp. On a mad moment I changed my exhaust to a 3.5" APS de-cat system which on a really cold day at Scoobyclinic ran 440 bhp. I t is quite a bit louder than the 3" system but I don't car as long as the boys with the blue and red disco lights don't pull me over.

Ideally you need to see and hear a few cars with different system. hearing them whilst a passenger inside and a drive by. So you can find the system that suits you.

I have cat centre with 4.5 tail but the muffler is away on it. Would really like 4/5 tail still with a good rumble

Id be amazed if the previous owner hasn't already changed the system.

No car has just been getting these upgrades done and remapped, garage is just saying all depends what I am wanting

I have a full Prodrive on my Bugeye. It gives that great low throb of the flat four whilst idling, and put your foot down to 4000-rpm+ and it howls.

I'd be inclined to stick with the Prodrive system with the sports cat.
