You've had enough chance to refund the £20.60 I sent via paypal for a stereo which never showed up !! And apparently arrived back to you ?!?!

Come on now !

It's only £20 but it's not the point to scam another Scoobynet member !

Getting more and more common.

And just like other wrong-doings, when people see others "get away with it", they will have a go too

But hey...on a positive note...IB are getting rich, and Stu gets a decent wage.

Jeff on most things we see eye to eye, you're a no nonsense tell it like it is bloke. However I think you're going to end up being banned if you carry on with this slanging match with Stu. Scoobynet is generally a fun forum, laid back and interesting. Compared to some forums where the admin/mods are zealous little Hitlers, I think Snet does well. Your points have been noted both by the mods and by admin. I'd consider that job done on your part.

Does seem more frequent of late that people are getting led down the garden path. Ive been on this forum for years, admitadly not posted a huge amount but still regard it as one of the better forums. Op, hope you sort it.

I have had this done to me and I have had bits been sent and not got them so I think some times it is a scam and some it's not but more of the time now it's a scam so take time and think and it's not scoobynet doing

No, it's not.
But they don't exactly go out of their way to help do they?

And if you pay as a trader, you are virtually bullet-proof.

Most of us have been f####d over on here at some point & the scammers don't get banned, why is that? They should be banned or at very least there should be a sticky listing the offenders so we can all see who to avoid easily. It just ruins the forum for all the decent genuine members.

Seems he is on quite a lot of forums if you google his user name.....I bought a bonnet of him that was apparently dent free, it came with 3 nasty dents in it!
I didn't bother complaining as having a bonnet delivered I thought may have caused the dents....on viewing some previous sales I think maybe it was bust before it came!
Gutted as £50 down but I can't prove anything!

Have admin been informed? They can't do anything if they've not been notified.

I'm a member on cliosport.net and have been for ages. To notify other members they have put in place @. So say if I was to try and get hold of Maz I would put @Maz, he would then get notified to say I have mentioned his name. It works very well. So to inform the admin team in my opinion it would be quicker doing it this way. Just my two pennies worth.

It's not the money I'm bothered about, it's the fact he's tried to bum me. He came to my house a few month back for a set of gauges at a very reasonable price I might add ! Lol.
But he seemed a decent guy, hence buying from him !

No they haven't, Maz

But now I have been informed, I've done a bit of digging within Scoobynet and unfortunatly and found nothing (yet).

iTrader is clean (no suprises there ), nothing much appears on search. Nothing in the RTM or mod's section (bar this: https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...l#post10528308 where the boot is on the other foot). He buys and sells alot (dogs included), and thats about it.

Outside of Scoobynet is tricky: As quite easily two different people can have the same username ID on different forums. However if there is a common phone number or email or residential address to tie it up the scoobynet ID with those used outside of Scoobynet then then I'm all ears. ( google search results on a username isn't enough...there has to be further corroboration )

Online now...So PM sent.

If there is no answer/explanation, I'll ban him.

Unless anyone here doesn't want me to do that, I'm sick to death of people saying I don't do anything.

Can we make a hit-list if you're doing a banning round?

It nothing different to what I usually do. I'm just doing it it more publically.

IP bans will result in ALOT of innocent people being banned that share the same dynamic IP pool. Google "dynamic IP address assignment" and understand how the internet fundamentals work before mentioning that in future.

You can't blame people for being vigilant. Too many have fallen foul of scammers and as you can see it angers us all. Thankfully in your case it seems the wrong conclusion was jumped to. Don't take it personally as I'm sure you'd want the community to come to your aid under similar circumstances. :-)
