Taking my hawkeye wagon on tour with the family and wondered if anyone's had any experience with the Thule roof-bar/roof-rack systems?

I've already got Thule system (bars and box) for my other car (which has roof rails built in) but the Scooby has a flat/no-rails roof.

A little research tells me that 'Rapid System 754 + Kit 1210' will fit the hawkeye, but it's a lot of money if (a) I get the wrong feet and (b) if the system isn't easy to use/fit.

Ive used the thule kit your on about mate on a blob saloon with no issues.

Just be carefull not to over tighten them which can mark the paint.
