It certainly appears to be the only one, there were maybe 3/4 at one point but the others have been sold out of this country from the info that came back.
I know this car very well indeed it's at the top of the scale there is nothing at all I can pick up on as Glenn never does a half a job on anything.

Did Torque buy it or are they selling on behalf of Glenn?

He must be quite pleased if he got 21.5k for it.

Regardless, isn't that how traders work? I assume he has to pay tax on it and take the risk of selling it so 1.5k mark up isn't too bad.

Being fair, it's the task of anybody selling anything to exploit the market. It's how the system works!
I'd also say that Torque GT are among the very best to deal with when it comes to car sales. We frequently fix cars for these guys, and it's none of this "how cheap" stuff, they just do it once and do it right.

I suppose you must be comfortable with making profit.

Personally, I think that whole notion is what's wrong with the world

There would be no buisness like engine tuner and decent car dealers if they made no profit.
I know what the dealer paid for mine and i paid quite a bit more but thats life, folk dont do buy and sell or trade for the fun of it.

What do you think the margin between potential benefits available and your salary is? That's the profit on your personal labour.

Anyone give me anymore info please like how many owners has the S204 had? Been a while since i've been on her and i'm looking at possibly getting back into an Impreza, this being my first choice.
Is the price stated a fair price for this car?

Was imported here by a chap called Glenn. He has been forced to sell it due to mobility issues.

The car itself is absolutely mint, regularly detailed and still looks new. It has literally been loved its entire life.

It has been remapped and has a couple of very small engine bay mods to my knowledge but is one of the cleanest Imprezas in the UK.

The current seller has had it looked over and ensured it is in good nick, the car is worth that price tag all day long.

Thenewgalaxy, have you seen the car, paperwork, met or spoken to the owner?

The car was not imported by Glenn and had a previous UK owner prior to Glenn.

I've seen it in the flesh and it is in good nick (not what you would expect for the mileage though, the door cards for example shouldn't be so worn) small things need sorting out (a few rust spots on the roof from stone chips and the windscreen surround has seen better days, tiny weep from T-connection where the oil pressure sender for the Defi is fitted - not a big deal just needs tightening), the price is OTT IMHO but maybe I am just too fussy.

I would expect all the above to be rectified for it to fetch the asking price.

Glenn is a genuine Subaru enthusiast though and has maintained the car very well, kudos to him.

Now I'll get my coat.

I've seen the car regularly and know the owner, the paintwork and condition of the car are better than new, it's been treated like a baby.

It didn't get used in bad weather, it was regularly detailed and the paintwork condition serviced so it was kept in top condition by a high end detailing company called Ti22 in South Wales.

I can guarantee whoever buys this car will not be disappointed at all, a big boy toy for sure and no to be confused with 99% of the rubbish out there for sale.

The arches are VERY clean indeed as is the underside of the car, totally mint.

Maybe I've just too high standards/expectations (see my previous post) or I am a fussy ****er.

The car drives like a dream though, the suspension doesn't have the usual bouncyness that Subarus have and sticks like **** to a blanket.

It's THE BEST Subaru suspension I've tried (and trust me I am very fussy in this having tried 7 different suspensions in my own cars)

The engine pickup and sound is phenomenal too and really addictive!

Yeah I had a twin scroll JDM V-Limited a few years back which was bought from Immy (Juggers), this was then owned by Nigel (Bonesetter). That car was rapid and great fun. From there I had a type R which was very raw and very unforgiving.....LOL. Been a while since I owned an Impreza and I always said if I was to come back into one it would be an S204 or a type RA-R.

I'd agree with your socialist principles, starting with you donating all your worldly possessions for the common good. I'll sell it all on Ebay, no profit of course, and give the cash to the Tony Benn memorial fund.
Can I pop round on Monday to pick them up?

Come down off that horse there, seems a little high for you... I'm pretty sure if Glenn had seen a 'tiny weep' or indeed pointed out to him it would've been sorted at any cost, also if there was any signs of wear on the door cards they would've been replaced or fixed to the highest standard!

His previous Spec C and Blob STi were both pristine when he got rid! I'd happily pay the asking price for the S204 knowing where it has come from!

Thanks for your input though fpan. ..

The best new age Impreza I've owned Phil

Knew you'd get back into another though - they're like a disease aren't they?

Not quite sure about a S204, but that's just me

Fpan I made enquiries about the car when it became available. I was under the impression it had only one previous owner but that must have meant it was being sold on Glenn's behalf by the previous dealer. My bad.

I've spoken to Glenn very briefly. I have seen the exterior of the car in person but not interior though seen plenty of pictures of it. I've spoken to many people who know Glenn and have driven and seen the car, they rave about it. The car is mint.

If an ultra rare none year old car with low mileage, in show winning condition is not up to your liking I guess that has ruled you out as a potential buyer.
