rear Caliper bolts (A tip)
After changing the rear discs on a few scoobys classic new age and hatch, and having the the bolts lock up after a couple of turns I had an idea.
The bottom bolt on the caliper on my hatch went solid after 2 turns so after every f word I know made no differance at all I thought can I cut the bolt head off with a 1mm disc in the grinder ? I turned the bolt so it was not solid and then cut the head off, This leaves thread to put 2 nuts and tighten so you can wind the bolt through the caliper using the good end of the bolt
I did run a die down the bolt before starting to wind it out but it worked a treat and even if it doesent you can still drill it out
hope this helps
Phil
