In my experience with sending panels you need to REALLY thouroughly wrap and pack and protect it heavily. If you do that you should be fine.
P.S. having used these sites for years you can be a little 'generous' on weights/sizes etc as couriers dont really care too much, they just want the money/van filled.

try paisleyfreight.com, they collect all over uk. just done me a set of 17" wheels and tyres for £30.
they advertise on ebay, but when I rang to queary something the woman told me to go direct onto their website as it was cheaper than going through ebay.

+1 £25 for a boot lid as long as you box / wrap will it will be all good .
