Default 400bhp cars!!! Torque figures?

As above, just wondering out of those of you running 400 bhp on newage 2.0 engines, what sort of torque is/was the car running at. What are the best upgrades and turbo to increase torque?

Mine is running md555, with FMIC, 1000cc injectors, full 3" miltek and decat etc... @ 1.5 bar and is 414bhp and iirc 340 lb/ft, but as I've been looking about I've noticed people getting quite abit more. I know the 2 litre engine is not the best for torque but what realistically is achievable on my spec. Was thinking of adding equal length headers and a perrin inlet but the guy who mapped it recommended a different turbo which I didn't really want to swap.

Any advice would be great!

Thanks
Jed

On v power alone, not interested in meth figures as I'll not be using it, cheers

But then had it back and it made better power and torque but not as high as I thought

How did u find out it was the knock sensor?

My 04 2.0 blob Sti.
Tdo6 20g billet( mapped 2 weekends ago with badly blowing manifold)
Port matched Japspeed headers, up pipe , de cat down pipe, induction kit, silicone intake pipe, 660's, Japspeed fmic

Going for a re map this sat after going making the turbo rotated turbo kit, more efficient straight inlet and no blowing exhasut mani so will see what it can do and if the torque increases. Cheers

Torque normally follows the boost curve, prior to this turbo I had a heavily ported vf43 and a meth map.
When that hit its full boost peak of 1.7bar at 4k it was making 412lb/ft torque. Then the boost died off to 1.2 bar

When Martyn mapped my car through the stages, the biggest increase in torque he said always came from the headers giving the turbo more flow. More flow, more boost, more torque.
I gained like 60ft torque form headers and front mount

Might be worth a go, I spoke to turbo dynamics and they said this turbo should achieve 360+. Can't understand y it's making good power but low torque

I wanted to go for the headers but Gaz @ gr said it was pointless on this turbo

There where your odeon on torque due to no headers.
That's a big turbo to not put headers on. Rcm headers on that's would change it

This is interesting as i have just bought a car that made 413bhp and 330lbft torque. so im interested to know the answer to this too, guy i bought the car from mentioned it could be the up pipe being too big but would that make that much difference.

My tubular headers and up pipe are ported right to the edge of the gasket to as big as it can possibly be taken out.
On a ported vf 35 I was making this
352/360 torque

What turbo is that on, I'm not sure if mines about 335lb/ft.
I know it's just shy of 340 but not sure of exact figure without digging paperwork out

Yeah I can't really get that either, Martyn at ENGINETUNER has mapped my car 4 times and the biggest jump he said had been down to headers.
I'm hoping for somewhere around 410/430hp and 400 torque on sat

On a sc42 billet mine made 410bhp and 360lb/ft which I thought/think is a bit low and boost doesn't come in till 4500-5000rpm so I may look at the knock sensor as well

My old 2.0 blob was running 370bhp and 340ft lb on an SC42 and was pretty laggy.

My new 2.5 is kicking out 485ft lb on V Power and much less laggy, SC 46.

Might have to try knock sensor, see if that makes a difference
