hi ive got a 1997 turbo 2000 with a clifford alarm that was already installed when i bought the car 4 years ago. ive noticed lately after it was driven by someone when it had some paint work and the exhaust done its started locking itself leaving the drivers door unlocked when normally the doors stay unlocked until you arm the alarm via the button. is this a mode on the clifford alarm or is it a fault with the electrics in the central locking system has anyone come across this before...? cheers

clifford alarms can be set to lock the doors at certain times (when you drive off or after so long inactive) and you can et them to only opne certain doors on one click then all on second click. i expect the battery was off for so long the setting got lost so its gone back to default.

oh ok cheers so it is a mode on the alarm thats auto locking the doors not a fault... any ideas how to reset it to not auto lock the doors when inactive?

prob need to consult the manual dude, do you knwo the model number of the alarm?
