eBay?
Evening all I need your advice. My car is currently for sale as a few of you might know and I have just received an email from a person in Germany who wants to come and see my car on Saturday as he's in the uk and if it's ok he will buy it. Never really dealt with eBay much but what are your thoughts on this is it a scam do you think or no? Guy has 100% feedback and no negative comments but what do you all think? Thanks in advance.

I have a Ebay shop and a few weeks ago sold a rally kit to a lad from Gremany, sent the invoice with postage and he asked if he could collect
Anyway he had paid so I said yes no problems, that weekend he called to collect after talking to him he came over to collect a car from Manchester so was passing my area, he comes over 2/3 times a month to pick up motors so I would have no problems with it myself... there are some good guy's out there not all scammers

Always wondered what the most secure type of payment would be for selling a car. I hate taking cash with all the forged money about, I don't handle enough cash to probably notice a good forgery. I have paid for my last car by bank transfer to a private owner, is this the most secure way to go nowadays? Obviously I would want the funds in the bank before letting the car go if I was selling.

There are pictures of the arches but no mention of the blistering in the advert, so £2500is a bit pricey in my opinion for a UK Turbo knocking on the door of 100k.

If the buyer is unfamiliar with the issues then they are in for a surprise just round the corner.

But anyone who is familiar with the problem knows that the blisters hid bigger issues and at £2.5k it's a big ask with a potential £1k bill on top. This may be even more on the European Mainland where Scoobs are not as common.

No worries fella just didn't want anyone getting the wrong idea about me lol. The price maybe a bit steep to some but I think it's worth that all day long especially with the arches and with the mods there is a little movement on my car and the quotes I seem to be getting are around the £600 mark to sort the arches so it's not all bad lol, but hopefully I will get someone who wants a quick reliable classic.
