Will defo be louder but not over the top. I had a scoobyworld racebox (similar to prodrive back box) on my wrx with a resonated mid section and deleted third cat. Gave a nice deep burble which wasn't to intrusive at motor way speeds. I think the straight through mid section can drone a bit at speed.

PPP comes with no centre section cat so it would sound the same as one of them, that's what mine is as standard, PPP with Prodrive back box and straight pipe centre section no cat

I have a prodrive back box, straight throw centre and a sports cat downpipe. It is quite loud, although no where near as bad as the Afterburner Vortex that came fitted when I bought the car. Great for 5 minutes, then you feel like a tw&t! I am actually considering fitting a resonated centre pipe. Guess I'm getting old!

Although my 3 year old son loves the noise so at least I have an excuse to have a loud exhaust.

I used to have a prodrive silencer with an unresonated centre pipe, it was only a touch louder and a bit more drone on a motorway etc. Go for it I'd say.
