Picked up my STI on Saturday after a 3 month wait, it has been at my dealers (Lancasters of Pangbourne) for 2 months waiting for the money to come through from a house sale. It has been a loooonnnnggg 3 months! It is the Prodrive model in WR Blue.
It certainly attracts alot of attention of the positive variety.
I have set the rev beeper to 3800 rpm for the first 1000 miles, but it is surprising how quickly you have to change gear to keep it below 4000 rpm.
My initial impressions after the 100 miles are that it so much better built than our MY99 Wagon with absolutely no rattles at all.
It feels much more secure round the corners and better balanced. The brakes now inspire confidence.
I have even seen another one already, a blue/black Prodrive.
My only critism is that it far too damn quiet!
I can hardly wait to reach 1000 miles and release a few more ponies.

102 miles... 900 to go..., I agree how quick it gets to 4000 revs, i've set my buzzer to 3800 also.....
I'm really impressed, it seems a whole lot better put together than my my99, so far, no rattles...
The only thing i'm doing now is spraying the door protection strips. I tried them in black, but they look horrible...
