Question steering problems

Hi guys had my wrx 03 for a couple of months now and no problems till now when driving the steering wheel feels quite heavy especially when turning back to the up right 12 o'clock position and some times near full lock there is no pattern either cold engine or hot and sometimes it doesn't do it at all, Any ideas ?

Hi guys thanks for ideas but amazingly WD40 on the J knuckle at the bottom of the rack solved the issue.
