Default Scott@Scoobyspares???

I dont normally start a thread about something like this but has anybody bought anything of him recently?

I bought and paid near £150 for a set of 550 phase 2 injectors 10 days ago. They still havent arrived. Heard nothing from him once the money was sent. I've sent 3 pm's and he hasnt answered them even though he has been on here pretty much everyday including yesterday. Tried the phone number and no joy there either.... Thing is he has a good trader score

I'd rather sort if on here before i have to log a dispute with paypal

You won't have a long despute mate, Scott is a decent guy and a reputable seller, I'm sure he has valid reason.
Threads like this can soon get out of hand, bare in mind if someone new to the forum were to see something like this, it wouldn't fill them with confidence about this trader. Pretty unfair over something that will be resolved with minimal fuss and more than likely a reasonable explanation. You'll get your parts dude

Thats no problem but ive waited 10 days with no contact and i as i said he has been on here, just wanted a quick pm to say they are posted or will be posted.

Not looking to dirty anyones name at all just a last attempt to make contact as any other attempts havent worked and as i said he has a good trader feedback and was very obliging up until i bought the parts.

Scott is as genuine as they come mate, as said above bare with him sure there's a valid reason. Give him a call mate much easier and phone always gets answered when I call. Use him for pretty much everything I need and bought loads, he's one of the best traders on here imo

Martin

Your not doing anything unreasonable starting this thread, but take into consideration that his pm box could be full you never know, but I fully understand where you are coming from 10 days is rather long maybe he might see this thread as you say he has been coming online and answer to this thread!,I hope you get the matter resolved soon.SJ.

I've got stuff off him before, sometimes it's come quick sometimes it's been 2 weeks, always turns up though and is always good condition.
I'm sure it will be fine and he will contact you when he's not busy!

I dealt with him for the first time just over a week ago. Had a twin plate clutch from him. Seemed like a sound guy and it turned up as promised. Phone was answered every time I rang. Sure there must be a good reason and will get sorted

I've no doubt he is genuine as people have said, but if you're running a business communication is a high priority, if he's been online and active on the forums it wouldn't take 30 seconds to reply to a PM, I'l probs get shot down and flamed as i'm the new guy but its true.

Yes you will, the forum software tells you(the sender) that their inbox is full and cant receive PM's.

I've bought off Scott before, and never had a problem. It's probably a genuine oversight, but, like you say a quick message wouldn't go amiss.

10 days is a joke its not like hes posting an engine or gearbox its a set of injectors

ignoring the customer wont get repeat business

Who's to say the item hasn't been lost in the post, Scott would be non the wiser.

Don't forget as a paid memeber you get over 100 pm in the inbox.

So he may have a few.

Plus members get an allowance of 500 PM's, not sure about traders possibly more.

Could at least let the chap know they've been posted though.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys, The injectors have been shipped I can promise that there must be a bloody problem I will call into our local post office Monday morning and retrieve our recent receipts for a tracking number and see what the hell is going on with the good old royal snail I mean mail ... Honestly though instead of sending us pm's and checking our accout has been active (there is a computer in our office that is always logged into scoobynet so this may state I've been online when I have not) why not just make a quick phone call and talk to me it's much easier and you would have an immediate answer we answer the phone 95% of the time in business hours and if I stay late it also gets answered maybe you was unfortunate not to get through, I currently have 100's of pm's in our inbox so I do apologise if I have missed yours, inbox me your number and I'll ring you right now to put your mind at rest

please please don't think We have ripped you off as that is not what we do as you can see from our trade score on here and feedback on eBay and also all the positive comments above.

I am not ignoring you as some have suggested above sometimes I do not get to check pm's for a few days due to the volume of phone calls, pm's, inbox's, email's, customers that come through the door, eBay messages etc...

Sorry once again I will sort this ASAP

Scott...

That's 100% Scott, i appreciate you coming on and letting me know. I wasn't doubting you and didn't at any time think id been ripped off, your well known and respected on here and your trader score reflects that. As i said above i thought it could have been a problem with postage.

Thanks for clearing it up and letting me know that they have been sent. If you can send me a tracking number that would be great also
