I'm starting the upgrades on the 27th to my05 sti ppp blob, I like to stick with a single brand for upgrades, ie all engine hks, all steering and suspension, whiteline.

I know you don't always get the best performance I just like the neatness of it,

Anyone's advice on best brand for my car, I was going to start with some hks stuff??

Surely no matter what the make you would be better off using what's proven to work best for each item you are using?

What exactly are you going to use from HKS? Exhaust and air filter? Can't say I can think of much else from them you could use bolt on wise? Obviously they do all sorts but I can't think of anything else in particular lol.

If you really only wanted to use one brand I would say stick to rcm if you have deep pockets

Why you want to use only one company,I've used on our build several well known companies which I know they're best in the field which they're doing

But as above if you have enough deep pockets,RCM is best

HKS is good,but from them I would use only exhaust,air filter I would use rather RCM

As above, RCM!!!!

But....

Start looking at what the specialists do!

For example engine tuner and scoobyclinic. They both use new parts on their own cars and test them till destruction before putting their name to them and selling them. There cars have countless different named parts and are some of the best in the world.

I do get what you're aiming for though, hence the bottom of my car is all orange CDF front and rear ARB's, drop links, anti lift etc
