Default Average paint condition of newage scoobies

Hi, I'm getting really close to manning up and buying an impreza sti but there is one thing i'm curious about in relation to the age of these cars.
How likely is it that a 50k+ impreza will have mint paintwork. It seems most people hint towards this in adverts but is this true or should i just accept that these cars wont be spotless aesthetically?

Stone chip on the bonnet which managed to annoyingly jump just over the armour fend but otherwise no worse than any other road car.

Subaru paint is notoriously thin. Some road rash is a certainty.

As mr undercover ( Donnie Brasco ) says
Ultra thin paint , not very well factory prept at the beginning of life can't help
Christ I find hairline & weaves on mine every other day,
Inc when it hasn't even been on the road ha ha
I am a bit OCD about it tho
