Rear anti roll bar bracket bolts snapped.....help.
Hi,
Im currently changing the single pot rear calipers on my99 turbo to subaru 2 pots.
At the same time I decided that my whiteline anti roll bar and drop links were looking a bit corroded. I removed the anti roll bar and drop links no problem ready to restore. I was then planning on stripping and painting the brackets. The two bolts on the drivers side anti roll bar bracket seemed to loosen ok after a good soaking with wd40 and duck oil. Then got tight and sheard off. Passenger side were no problem at all.
Has this happened to anyone before? I was thinking about getting everything back on the car excluding the anti roll bar and drop links, driving it carefully to a local garage to see if they could weld a nut on and undo the rest of the bolt?

Any advice would be very welcome.
Cheers

Grab yourself some decent drill bits and make sure to keep the drill bit lubed and dont run it at full speed drill the centers out, might want to grab a set of extractors as well, basically all the garage will do matey as it doesnt look like theres much meat left to weld a nut to

Thanks for the quick reply. I had thought of using a bolt extractor set. Only problem is one of the bolts is under the petrol filler pipe. Hardly any access. Having a nightmare.
