Ive just sold a really good beige one and have a project of a red one sitting on the drive.

Get on mvbrumbybrat.co.uk. Theres a guy on there called giles who is really helpful.

Mines not for sale but ill happily advise on what to look for if you want.

I want something that can do a bit of work. Don't think that one qualifies.

I was going to look at the green one but a previous owner said it has problems with the valve seals which has put me off, I have emailed the owner of the red once twice to no reply. What sort of money did you get for the cream one fully restored if you don't mind me asking

Yeah it's not really my thing though. I want a proper brat. Not an impreza that's been cut about. My impreza days are done after an 04 Sti and a 360bhp p1.

John,

When you go to look at one be very careful, they rot badly, even the ones that look good can be bad below the surface. The brat I am restoring didn't look 'too bad' but ended up a pretty much full restore.

Good luck with finding one, they are amazing trucks.

Regards

Daniel
