Default removal of black door strips

my uk turbo has black rubber strips running the length of the doors. I want to remove them for a cleaner look.

is there a "nack" to removing them without damaging he paintwork?

Use the mrs hair dryer and lots of heat and very slowly remove. Then use acetone to remove any sticky residue or the mrs nail varnish remover

might be a silly question, but when you say lots of heat, would I be better with a hairdryer or a heat gun on low setting?

Heat then get a piece of fishing wire behind once one end is loose. Slowly pull it behind. Glue or tar remover to get rid of the sticky residue.

Don't forget to protect the paint with a wax or sealant after as the chemicals that remove the residue will also remove any protection you may have on the paint.
