You're in Scotland, there's plenty of places there that are more than capable to carry out the work you want.

Another member on here got a engine from them, built with bent valves and put together with to much sealant with caused the oil pump to fail and the engine to go BANG. It went to paul finch to be rebuilt and another 8k later it's the smoothest 2.35 I've heard.

Give where you are Alyn at AS would be the only call I make. As for mapping JGM goes up there a bit and Andy forest isn't to far, 2 of the best in the game. I love the fact people way to build a engine then like you say area 52 will be mapping it at a good price. I'd rather pay the difference and have quality

My advice always listen to feedback from well established members about there experiences with engine builders/tuners etc.. I live down south and Neil at SLOWBOY RACING is doing my build and the quality of his work is second to nonebut I have always heard good things about Alyn ASPERFORMANCE that's why I'm always in contact with himand Alan Jeffrey EngineTuner, even though I have never used them but definitely would the pictures of there builds are mouth wateringthat's how I have always decide who to use with parts building advice etc..any company with a steady flow of negative Feedback from users is straight on my **** list of companies/businesses to avoid.SJ.

Had my car mapped at area 52 by JGM, nice friendly bunch there but as for building an engine, can't really comment as never had any work done there.
