Default Airbag warning light

After fitting an OMP steering wheel the airbag warning is still luminated, even with an airbag bypass wire i got from demon tweeks?

not sure if i fitted the bypass wire correct, however there is only two wires from the clockspring to the back of the air bag, so i cut these and joined them seperately to the 2 wires on the bypass kit. The bypass wires are supplied already joined at the other end with a resistor.

There was another wire in the kit, a single black wire, bare at one end and connector at other end, not sure where this fits?

Is this correct?

On a newage at least, there are 3 wires to the clock spring, one for the horn to earth and two for the air bag.

Could be wired wrong or could be the resistor has blown, I bought some resistors and did my own. My airbag light has come on again which means a resistor has blown or come away and I have 3 on mine as I've removed the seatbelts as well. The resistors are cheap as chips, literally pence each so buy a couple of quids worth.
