Default 4 bar map sensor for Ecutek?

Will I need a 4 bar map sensor for an Ecutek remap, hopefully going above 420bhp, or are they only usefull when going mafless?

Car is a widetrack blob, mods will be:

panel filter
3 port bcs
spark plugs
fuel pump
800cc injectors
fpr (possibly)
harvey up pipe and headers
sports cat
exhaust
billet md321t and samco hose
ecutek map

many thanks

It's a case of what boost you are planning to run. A 4 bar will allow up to about 2.9 bar of boost. A 3 bar about 1.9.

Widetrack blob runs 2.6 bar sensor I think, so good for 1.5bar.

All my suggestions allow 0.1 bar margin to make sure overboost is dealt with correctly.

If your mapper has detailed knowledge of EcuTEK, you can get around certain MAP sensor limits (dependant on what your targets are).
