Default Trade in value of a bug UK300

Evening all, just seen a tidy blob sti, but its at a dealers and got me thinking lol although its on 114k miles.

Are there any traders on? I have a bug uk300 on 81k miles, y reg reasonable condidtion. Totally standard

Full service history up to my owner ship, ive done about 6k miles in it with one engine and gearbox oil, change. I had it mot'd and put on the rollers 2 days after purchase, so its got just under 6 months mot and tax left.

It has an api recon engine fitted at 52k milesish (cant remember exact figure)
Folder full ove recepts amd it was maintained at subaru around gatwick area, will confirm if needed etc

So, on auto trader they go for 4k plus for higher milage ones, what would a dealer offer???

I only got offered 1500 px on my 01 bug, granted it was a normal wrx but I doubt many garages will give you any preferential treatment for your model unfortunately

It's a proper UK300, not a WRX?

I'd say if clean and tidy in standard form with comprehensive insurance and a receipt for the engine replacement of better spec, then you may get 4-5k private sale, but trade in 3k.

Although the UK300 is a better looking car than a standard bug WRX, it is pretty much just that, a better looking WRX. Which may be more desirable to some, with its STI style trim seats, 18 wheels, Prodrive headlamps, spoiler, skirts etc, and a limited number plaque.

Best of luck, but I'd sell private bud

Tell us more about the STI trade car?

Rob

Glasses guide doesn't recognise the uk300 (unless you have the registration number)

I based it on a WRX and trade in is £1855 (retail asking £3300)

There is a uk300 limited edition which trade in is £2480 (215bhp) or £2580 (242bhp)

Cheers fellas, its a propper uk300 with ppp, all certificates, i even have the original bill sale for the car. Comprehensive service history, recept for the engine etc and a rr graph showing 240bhp.

As i suspected tho, i wont get a great deal for it trade.

I also dont want to sell yet, but was just thinking aloud i guess! (Plus no funds for cars at the mo!)

Here you go mate, £2640 trade in value but that's based on a 90k motor so yours will probably be worth slightly more.
